60lbs of beef bone slow-cooked for 24 hours in order to provide you a deep rich spiced
flavors made to perfection while serving freshly-cooked broth daily. The brisket is cut-to-
order to serve you tenderness, buttery and always-fresh taste. The signature spring roll
peanut sauce is prepared in-house using 7 different ingredients created after 3 cooking
steps to your liking. Whether you choose to sit on the patio sipping our slow-dripped
aromatic scented ice coffee (café Sua Da) or wish to enjoy a glass of wine over a bowl of

Meet The Owner
Owners, Toan P. and Jolie P, are the heart of Viet Urban Kitchen’s quintessential
Vietnamese home-style cuisine. Set in a chic, intimate atmosphere in the heart of
Houston, the menu features eclectic selections of their family's traditional recipes passed on
during the Vietnamese diaspora. And just like serving at home with their loved ones.
Toan P. grew up in a suburb of the mountain region in Vietnam called Bao Loc. His family
owned and operated several pho restaurants in Bao Loc. The cherished times he spent with
his kith and kin at these restaurants rustling up tasteful dishes, sowed the seed of
restaurant business. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Finance and MBA, Toan
went to work for a corporation and saved his earnings to fulfill his culinary dream. During
this journey, he met his wife Jolie P. who was then pursuing her lifelong dream to become a
dentist. It was around that time that restauranteur Madam Ky decided to pass on her original
Pho & Crab restaurant to Jolie. Toan stepped up to back his wife on this new venture and
bring their dream to fruition. Toan enjoys hunting, hiking, fishing, and most of all, outdoor cooking.
